Mysterium III Asia
During this third in the series of his first century quest to interview eyewitnesses to the life of Jesus before it is too late, Theophilus reaches Asia, a land far more ancient and mysterious than Rome or Greece. Revelations pour forth in the seething baths of Ephesus-of-the-many breasted-goddess which is the most sophisticated city in the world, and in the nativity-tale-inspiring caves for which Asia is famous, and in even on a hilltop where Theophilus witnesses the horrors of an actual crucifixion. Moreover, the shadowy founder of formalized Christianity, Paul, in whose footsteps Theophilus is treading, comes into clearer view.
